Peoria, Arizona is located northwest
of the city of Phoenix,
 and
is considered part of the greater Phoenix area. It was
founded in 1886 by settlers from Peoria, Illinois. Peoria
was incorporated in 1954, with boundaries covering one
square mile of land.
Peoria Arizona is one of the
fastest growing cities in the United States. More than 60%

education. There are more than 122,000 people living there,
making it the 9th largest city in Arizona. The median annual
